Career Challenge or Failure
- This industry is filled with little failures every day. Failures happen. What separates the good restaurants from the great restaurants is that the great restaurants learn from those little failures and make tweaks every day to grow because of them. Just because failures happen every day, doesn’t mean we need to accept them.
- RJ and his partnered didn’t listen to their customers when they wanted chicken parm on the menu. Sometimes you need to swallow your pride and give your people what they want.

- Passion for serving others. Passion for the life cycle of food.

What is your biggest weakness?
- Saying yes.
- Priorities what is most important. Every time you say yes to one opportunity you’re saying no to another.

What is one piece of advice you have for leading others?
- Be fair and consistent.

What’s one question you ask or thing you look for during an interview?
- Make the interview personal.
- Ask what their personal experiences are. Then look for the spark in their eye.

- Growth.
